Help us Inspire Readers for Tomorrow
The Problem
Since humans have been on this planet, the ability to pass on information to the younger generation has allowed us to survive, develop, and flourish into who we now are. Writing and reading books have been the main way that this has happened; Children across history and cultures have alike been inspired, moved, and instructed by books to change the world for the better. Even today, reading is integral to social mobility and economic development, with lower reading levels heavily linked to lower incomes. Yet there is a problem. Literacy rates, the ability of the next generation to absorb the information left by their predecessors, are on a historic decline: 2023 has seen the lowest literacy rates among 9 year-olds since 1990, continuing a trend that began during the pandemic, but extended past that [1] [2]. This problem is only exacerbated by socioeconomic class, [3] often as a result of a lack of resources necessary to foster such important skills. This is a problem affecting all Americans that is especially prevalent in communities that need it most.

Our Solution
Consistent distribution
We aim to regularly distribute books to underserved students through partner organizations
In order to bridge the widening literacy gap, we believe that it is necessary to address the root of the problem: A lack of the means to cultivate, or even allow for, such growth. As such, our primary program looks to fix this problem by providing learning kids with the resources needed to grow in the form of books.
Free of cost
We provide books to those who need them free of cost through physical and monetary donor contributions
Reader choice
We aim to maximize engagement by providing students with a selection of popular books to choose from.
How you can help
Donations
As a nonprofit, we rely on the funding of individuals or organizations who deem this a good cause. To donate to us is to invest in the future of these kids by providing with the inspiration and understanding that lie within books. There are two ways to donate: with books or with money. Any children’s books are welcome, while a monetary donation will allow us to buy books specifically aimed towards a certain age group. Each project has its own dedicated fund, as well as a bio, allowing you to contribute towards the cause you feel most lead to.
Be a part of the difference
We are always looking for volunteers to be our hands in feet in realizing our vision for the future. You can volunteer in a variety of ways, and in doing so donate your time and effort to helping work towards a better tomorrow. For your time, NHS/Community service hours are also available on request.
